Serving youth throughout Metro Detroit, Metro Detroit Youth Clubs has locations in Detroit, Royal Oak and Southfield, MDYC’s approach is to help our members learn, grow, lead, and succeed.
The mission of the Club is to empower youth to reach their full potential through safe, accessible, and inclusive experiences that open doors to a bright future, enabling every Club member to graduate from high school with a plan for college or career, contribute to their community and live a healthy life.
Building on 65 years of serving Metro Detroit youth, we are guided by our mission-focused, evidence-based programs focusing on: literacy, mental health services, mentoring, workforce development, and play opportunities in health and fitness.
Our membership form is now easy to access and even easier to fill out. We now offer an online application that can be filled out in just 5 minutes!
Metro Detroit Youth Clubs has 3 locations – Detroit, Royal Oak, and Southfield. Below are the addresses for each Club:

The Levin-Comer Club is located at 2470 Collingwood St Detroit.

Metro Detroit Youth Clubs has 3 locations – Detroit, Royal Oak, and Southfield. Below are the age ranges at each location.

SOUTHFIELD
Grades 6 to 12
The Club is open in the summer for regular drop-in programming from 12pm-4pm at our Detroit and Royal Oak locations. To attend summer drop-in hours from 12pm-4pm, you need an active Club membership for 2024 for your child.
In addition, in Royal Oak, we will offer morning camps each week that you can register for. The schedule for these camps will be posted on April 1, and registration for summer camp opens on May 1.

In Royal Oak, we provide busing to the Club from 4 local elementary schools and Royal Oak Middle School.
For members living within 1 mile of the Detroit Club, we offer transportation from the Club to your home. Please fill out the transportation form to enroll in our Levin-Comer Transportation program.
